John Duffin was born in Barrow in January 1965. He is a painter and printmaker who has exhibited widely across the UK, holding more than 30 one man shows and exhibiting in group shows at the Royal Academy, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Flowers East, Mall Galleries and many others.

He is a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and his work is in many public collections, including the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, BBC Collection, Museum of London, Cumbria County Council and private collections in the UK and abroad. He lives and works in London.
